Forester Pass By Myself

This is why I’m in town relaxing and having fun. I just crossed Forrester Pass at night by myself with no crampons or ice axe. I deserve wine and cheese and foot massages, I think.

About elinatravels

I’m Elina Oliferovskiy, a Russian-born 27-year-old restless soul who’s never really found a place to dig her roots in deep ever since I moved to the United States in 1998. I move every year or two, backpack for months at a time, and occasionally live and travel in a motorhome--and I (usually) love every minute of my (somewhat) nomadic lifestyle. Feel free to follow along on my journey by reading my blog!

Could not have even imagined. Thanks for sharing. Maybe I will just stick to the desert portions of the PCT on my Sections hikes. YIKES. But magnificent.

That is so amazing, with a full moon too. Thank you for posting this. I hope to get to that spot some day. Sorry to hear about the bike wreck, but maybe you need a couple of days off anyway. Rest up and then get back to it.
